Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
  • Cooking spray should be used to grease a donut pan.
  • Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  • Whisk together the milk, vanilla extract, egg, and melted butter in a separate bowl.
  • Mix the wet and dry ingredients together until just combined.
  • Fill a piping bag or a zip-top bag with a snipped corner with the batter.
  • Fill each donut mould about two-thirds full with batter from the prepared donut pan.
  • Bake the donuts for 12-15 minutes, or until they are lightly golden brown and spring back when touched.
  • Allow the donuts to cool for a few minutes in the pan before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Dip the cooled donuts in the glaze, then sprinkle with sprinkles.
  • Before serving, allow the glaze to set.
